Yesterday, we brought you to Gardens by the Bay. It was the
Cherry Blossom festival and mommy loves Sakura. She also likes Lavender so next
time we can all visit Lavender Garden again together.
Mommy was on leave the whole day so in the morning, she brought
you to the playground and sent me the photos of you having fun. I was smiling
as I looked at those pictures because both of you looked so happy.
At home she also let you explore with ice cubes and the Ikea
tunnel which Auntie Deborah passed to you. You looked apprehensive initially
but was soon regaling in the experience as you squint, splash, tap and lick at
the melted pool of ice water at your feeding table.
I asked mommy if she was tired and she told me she is an
octopus mommy, always looking to try new things with and for you. She is a
wonderful mommy.
At Gardens by the Bay, we took quite a lot of photos but you
fell asleep in half of them. It was so cold inside the Conservatory but we
managed to keep you warm and cosy with sweater and swaddle cloth.
We had our dinner at McDonalds and mommy gave you a small
bite of fries. You seem to like it but we decided to stop. After dinner we changed you because you poop
and we had to do that while you stand up because you do not allow us to lie you
down now that you are a big boy.
We tried to feed you milk but you only drink a little and we
were unable to coax you to drink more after that.
As it was getting late, we took a leisurely stroll back to
the MRT station. I enjoyed soaking in the night breeze and the beautiful environment
with mommy and kai. It was a fulfilling day indeed.
